this is my bus that I have spent the last year building from a derelict bus that had not run in twenty years. I had sat at a shop in reno till march 2008 and now is almost completely done. it has been a year of passion to get this far along. working full time and building when I am off work has taken its toll but I love this bus.

Handing out medical supplies and tools at a little hospital in Chiapas, Mexico. Fun drive, but pinche gobierno mexicano refused me entry and held me on the border for thrity days.... then story made NY Times (page 14) and they say "Welcome Gringo!"

Even after the French lost their arses at dien Bien Phu in '54, their tires stayed on to continue fighting a losing battle. Some Peugots and old Renaults also joined up, but were easily defeated by Dastardly but Clever Commies on bicycles. (Yes, I am a History teacher)

This beautiful old Ford runs great, diesel with 5 speed automatic, and comes with another little diesel 4 cylinder as an auxiliary pump motor. I have 2 of them, plus one for parts

this was a very sweet bus, 300 hp Cummins turbo, Jake Brakes and a ten speed. Sold on Ebay for $6101.00 to some restorer/customizer fellows in LA

Gilligs are my favorite bus. I also like Crowns, but prefer Gilligs for ease of maintenance, and the center storage.
