That's a really nice idea. I'm moving into a box truck house in less than six months, I'm not currently pregnant and I want children, so my chances of having a mobile baby are pretty high. I hope everything worked out well for you.

Jowdy, Jelly, I sure hope to "wander" my way to kid village this year, , The gatherings in New Mexico, yah? In Eastern Washington at this moment, got a couple of lines on buses, but $$$$..... grrr, it'll happen. Maybe someone will even loan thier bus, or something. I got a baby due in july, and have been hoping and praying the Magic Bus comes through by then, so I've got a little "secure" space, and pile as many hippies as want ride to NM as can fit, have this baby at the gathering....It will definetly be nice to get together with other mamas and make this dream come true.

it is a passion and dream of mine to have a converted school bus to live in with my family, and to be a service to (homeless or) traveling mamas, as a resource for alternative maternity care. Like a rolling birth center?? I found myself in need of such a dream when my daughter was born, and although i did not find what i was looking for, It turned out alright. But the experience gave me a passion and a dream that includes also a "rainbow family soup kitchen" sort of nutrition and healing, for pregnant mamas on the road. It has been named The Open Bowl (get it, O B?) like where women go for such care. So I have a dream, next is the action required to transfer it to reality, I am working on what i can do on my end to keep this dream alive, I am hoping to find some sponsors to ease the (sometimes im)possibilities that would threaten as barriers, such as finances, grrr. I hope someday to see a fleet, or convoy of busses dedicated to the future of humanity and freedom, of love and determination, and of course, mamas who have no where to go in the most delicate and precious time of thiers and thier baby's life, for safety, love and nourishment, and the possibilities of so much more.
