Free Internet Wi-Fi Hot Spots are real common these days & I can pretty much park my car in most areas of Portland & surf the Net on my laptop. But being inside a basically box of steel tends to make the signal drop in & out. The Bus I'm sure will be even worst. I know they exist cause I've seen them on Semi's before but can't seem to find them anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can buy a real Wi-Fi Antenna? Oh I could make one of them stupid hack pringos can wi-fi contraption but that wouldn't last long on the roof of my bus. So anyone, any idea? Do most of you just use coffee shops?

Re: Mobile Wi Fi Antenna
Sun, November 13, 2005 - 10:50 AMIf you want to tinker and make your own,

Or, Comp USA has antennas already made for less than $30.00. IN all these cases the NIC on your Computer needs to have a removable antenna so the cable can be conected in its place.
